Removing Tension Improves the Healing Process
BRIJ technology provides better eversion, greater tension reduction, and significantly lower tissue pressure, ranging from 400 to 500 times less.
As can be seen in these strain maps, BRIJ’s Medical’s devices provide far more tension control that sutures. Tension (strain) reduction is shown in BLUE – the larger the area of blue, and the darker it is, the greater the strain reduction. In addition, the Brijjit devices exert an estimated 400-500 LESS device pressure against tissue than sutures. This means no “hash mark” scarring and a much gentler environment for optimal wound healing.
